To meet the challenges of emerging scenario in the 21st century and to exploit the new opportunities in the field of Commerce, the department of Commerce was established in the year 2006-2007 and it is one of the emerging departments in the University. The Department has the legitimate claim and pride of being the premier institution in Tirunelveli for course curriculum development, teaching and researches in Commerce discipline. The rapid growth of the Department of Commerce is reflected in its expansion as well as novelty in its academic programmes.
Commerce Study Circle
The Students of Department of Commerce, Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli formed a 'COMMERCE STUDY CIRCLE' with the objective to interact with the corporate world, exploring various possible job opportunities and broadening the vision beyond academic and textual knowledge.
